Technology & Innovation

WE ADOPT NEW TECHNOLOGIES TO CREATE USER-CENTRIC ELECTRONICS THAT IMPROVE THE LIVES OF OUR CUSTOMERS.

Striving Towards Energy Efficiency

The first ever split-unit air conditioner launched by TRENDS achieved a 4-tick energy conservation rating with excellent energy savings of up to 60% and blazed the path for future energy efficient products in the pipeline.

Performance-Driven Differences

Clad in attractive and vibrant colours, our products are enhanced with touch-screen controls, WIFI enabled capabilities and eco-friendly features that bring delight and added ease to users.

Our newly launched air purifier stood out in the marketplace with its 360 degree multi-directional air purification function by cleaning surrounding air with maximum efficiency. Coupled with providing live updates on air quality, our air purifier delivers optimal performance with functionality differences that definitely leave an impact.

Research Pointing the Way

Research and development (R&D) has been our core focus since our developmental years. Back in 2006, we started a R&D arm back to work closely with our manufacturing production team to innovate and incorporate new technologies into our new products.

TRENDS is also actively partnering institutions such as National University of Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnic to co- develop the latest technology such as an innovative and eco-friendly water purification system for recycling waste water produced by air conditioners.

Quality First, Always

All products manufactured go through  stringent quality checks and rigorous product  testing by an in-house team of expert  engineers to ensure optimal product quality.

In 2014, we were accorded with ISO 9001:2008 certification which is a testament  to our relentless commitment towards  quality.

Engineered in Singapore

In 2014, we made a strategic move to start a  manufacturing facility in Singapore where  our team of technicians and engineers could  conduct further monitoring and tests on  engineering processes and quality checks.

Not only did the made-in- Singapore  endorsement further boosted consumers’  confidence, TRENDS also benefitted from  the shorter lead time in quality management  control.
